On July 29, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony for China Huadian Corporation LTD.'s 200MW offshore photovoltaic power station EPC project in the flood retarding basin of Lianjiang Kenmen development zone, was held. With the announcement by Zhang Pin, Deputy General Manager of Huadian Fujian Company, the first pile of the photovoltaic power generation area was successfully driven by the joint EPC contractors—Fujian Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Survey and Design Institute and Share Power Co., Ltd.—marking the official commencement of the project.  

As the largest single offshore photovoltaic project undertaken by Huadian Fujian Company in the province and a key new energy initiative in Fujian, this project holds significant importance. Our company, in collaboration with Fujian Water Conservancy and Hydropower Institute, will strive with unwavering determination—"treating the start as the final sprint"—to build this project into a "benchmark demonstration" endeavor. It aims to support Huadian Fujian Company in achieving its annual goals and contribute substantially to the high-quality development of Fujian's new energy industry.

Following the ceremony, Lin Wenbiao, Party Secretary and Executive Director of Huadian Fujian Company, visited the construction site to inspect progress and extend sincere regards to the frontline teams. He emphasized the importance of accelerating construction while ensuring quality and safety to meet the annual targets.
