150MW Fishery-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Project in Guandong Saltworks, Yancheng Officially Kicks Off
On the morning of September 28, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 150MW fishery-solar complementary photovoltaic project in Guandong Saltworks, Yancheng, the first-phase project of the 1,300MWp fishery-solar complementary power generation project jointly developed by Yueda Group and Haixing Holdings Group, was held. Leaders from companies such as Jiangsu Yueda Group Co., Ltd., Yancheng Haixing Holdings Group Co., Ltd., Guangxi Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Energy Engineering Group, and Share Power Co., Ltd. were present at the ceremony.
The 150MW fishery-solar complementary photovoltaic project in Guandong Saltworks, Yancheng, is under the general contract of the consortium formed by Guangxi Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Energy Engineering Group and Share Power Co., Ltd. The project is located within the Yutong Aquaculture Area of Guandong Saltworks in Xiangshui County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, covering a water surface area of approximately 3,000 mu. It adopts the "fishery-solar complementary" model, where power generation occurs above the water surface while aquaculture takes place below. With a planned installed capacity of 150MW on the AC side, a new 110kV step-up substation will be built, and a 110kV line will be connected to the 220kV Qingxin Substation. It is scheduled to achieve full-capacity grid-connected power generation in December 2025.
