Three Gorges Energy Anhui Fuyang South Wind and Solar Storage/Power Base 650MW Floating Photovoltaic Project has been fully connected to the grid for power generation
On December 27, 2023, the China Three Gorges Group Anhui Fuyang Wind and Solar Power Base Yingshang Phase II 400MW floating photovoltaic project, jointly contracted and constructed by SHAREPOWER Co., Ltd. (the leading party) and China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd. (the member party), successfully achieved full capacity grid-connected power generation! Including the 250MW floating photovoltaic project (already put into operation) at the southern wind and solar energy storage base (ancient city) in Fuyang City, which was previously co-built by SHAREPOWER, with a total installed capacity of 650MW, it is currently the largest floating photovoltaic power station in China and even the world, with an average annual power generation of about 700 million kilowatt hours.
This project utilizes the idle water surface in the coal mining subsidence area of Gucheng Town and Jiangkou Town in Yingshang County, Fuyang City. A 4.2MW floating array photovoltaic power generation unit is used, high-efficiency single crystal double-sided double glass photovoltaic modules are selected, 300kW series inverters are used, and 4200 kVA European style box transformers and their concrete floating platform patented technology are used to construct a 220kV booster station.
The completion of the China Three Gorges Group Fuyang South Wind and Solar Energy Storage/Power Base is of great significance for building a self-regulating water ecosystem and promoting the transformation of the energy structure in the Yangtze River Delta.
